The iPhone app is the tool you actually walk the process with. Same recording flow as the web, plus GPS, NFC-triggered timing, and photo evidence per step.
Install
Search "ValueStream by MapVS" on the App Store. Sign in with the same email and password you use on mapvs.com. Your maps sync down automatically.
Start recording against a map
- Tap the map on the Maps tab.
- Tap the Play icon in the action row.
- Confirm start. The step timer begins for stage 1.
- Tap Next Step to advance. Timers roll automatically.
- Tap the camera icon on any step to attach a photo. It gets stored with the step's evidence.
GPS and NFC
- Configure start / end coordinates per stage to auto-advance when the worker crosses a geofence - great for logistics or gemba routes.
- Stick an NFC tag at each workstation and configure the stage to start / stop when a tag is scanned - great for factory floors.
Offline is fine
Recording works fully offline. When the phone reconnects, MapVS syncs the run silently. No data lost.
