Pair your Apple Watch

The Watch app is standalone - no phone needed. It connects directly to mapvs.com over LTE or wifi.

Get a pairing code

1. Sign in on mapvs.com.
2. Open Account Settings.
3. Tap Generate Watch Pairing Code. You'll see a 6-digit code that's valid for 5 minutes.

Enter it on the Watch

1. Install the ValueStream Watch app from the App Store (bundled with the iOS app).
2. Open the app on your Watch. You'll see a sign-in screen with a numeric input.
3. Type the 6-digit code and tap Pair.
4. The Watch fetches your maps and lands on the map list. Tap any map to start recording.

Why standalone matters

On the factory floor you don't want a phone in your pocket - the Watch talks directly to mapvs.com over the LTE model or wifi. Recordings sync when you tap Stop. If you lose connection mid-recording the app queues the steps and uploads when you're back.
