What-If scenario analysis

What-If lets you propose changes to a value stream and instantly see the impact - without touching the current-state map.

Create a scenario

1. Open the current-state map you want to analyse.
2. Click Scenarios in the icon row.
3. Click + New Scenario. MapVS clones the current state as your working copy.
4. Edit stages, cycle times, wait times, staffing, or shift patterns.

Read the diff

The scenario view shows current vs proposed side by side: PCE delta, lead time delta, VA time delta, and if you've entered labour cost per hour in Account Settings, the dollar savings per unit and estimated annual ROI.

Compare multiple scenarios

You can keep 10 scenarios per map. Use them for "what if we remove the review step", "what if we add a second operator to bottleneck", "what if takt drops by 20%". Compare all of them in one table.
