Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is the industry-standard score for how well a station is running.
The formula
OEE = Availability x Performance x QualityWhat each component means
- Availability = Actual run time / Planned run time. Fed by shift calendars + recorded downtime.
- Performance = Actual output / Theoretical max output. Fed by cycle time recorded vs standard time.
- Quality = Good units / Total units. Fed by the Defect Rate you enter on each stage.

Open the Analytics tab. Each station shows an OEE % and a small breakdown. World-class is 85%+ (a mythical target for most operations); 60% is a typical baseline; below 40% is worth an urgent look.
