MapVS stores your data in the region you select. The default for new accounts is Sydney, Australia (ap-southeast-2).

Change your region
Account Settings > Data Region. Changing region schedules a migration; existing data moves in the background over a few hours. You'll get an email when it's complete. Free-tier users are locked to the default region.
